Construction of the very first Cigale 15 QR
The construction of the very first Cigale 15 QR is now underway opening an exciting new chapter in the history of the Cigale range. This latest evolution of the iconic fast offshore cruising yacht builds upon a legacy that has set the benchmark in bluewater sailing since the 1990s.
Developed in collaboration with the renowned naval architects Finot-Conq, the designers behind the original Cigale yachts, the new 15-meter model combines performance, versatility, and ease of handling to meet the expectations of today’s sailors. Whether sailed short-handed, with family and friends or long offshore crossings, the Cigale 15 QR is designed to excel across a wide variety of cruising programs.
Currently under construction at the Alubat shipyard in Les Sables d’Olonne, the first Cigale 15 QR is scheduled for launch in spring 2027.
She will be officially unveiled to the public at the Grand Pavois de La Rochelle in 2027.
