The characteristics of aluminium are fully reflected in the 100 % Alubat 100 % aluminium concept :
- Rigidity : a 100 % aluminium hull is an extremely rigid object that does not suffer from distortion caused by the ballast, the rigging or the sea state. This is the ultimate guarantee of safety for your yacht and the durability of your hull and of its interior fittings.
- The capacity of aluminium to absorb shocks without rupturing is one of the biggest advantages of 100 % aluminium hulls in encounters with containers, tree trunks, etc. For this reason, long distance cruisers will not compromise on this point and will choose a 100 % aluminium hull.
- The density of aluminium (2.7) is low and offers the benefits of the other advantages of aluminium without increasing the weight of the boat. Moreover, a 14 m (and even longer) 100 % aluminium hull will be lighter than a GRP hull.
- The flexibility offered by aluminium is encapsulated in the 100 % aluminium concept : the bulkheads are not structural, deck hatches can be relocated on deck and their size can be changed. Only the 100 % aluminium concept will allow you to personalise a production yacht.

The quality of our woodwork
The interior furniture of our Alubat-built boats is fabricated at our factory according to traditional woodworking methods during constuction of your hull. The quality that comes from this choice is indisputable.
- The use of solid wood trims on all corners of furniture, fiddles and large doors underpins the strength of the interior furniture of your boat. Bearing in mind that the rigidity of the hull will protect the furniture from distortion, you can be sure that your Alubat yacht will stay in exceptional condition, for your sailing pleasure year after year, making you proud as well as helping your resale value when you will decide to go for another Alubat yacht.
- The 100 % aluminium quality allows for the personalisation of your boat : but this is only possible to achieve, without compromise on quality, through the skill of our woodworkers and our internal fabrication of the furniture.
