Organisation and Facilites

With a surface area of more than 20,000 sq m, of which 8,500 sqm under cover, the Alubat yard is located on two sites, at Fontenay Le Comte and the main yard at Chateau d’Olonne.

There are 120 staff working full time at Alubat, with an average age of 33 and 10 years experience in the job. Staff turnover is very low and there are no temporary or contract workers which guarantees the continuity, training and experience of our workers and assures the quality of the boats built at the yard.

All the boat building work is undertaken internally from the sheet metalworking shop, the paint shop, manufacture and installation of the woodwork to the electrical circuits, plumbing and mechanical and hydraulic systems. We only subcontract the installation of the navigation equipment but this is also installed on the premises.

This strategy enables us to monitor the full building process.
